Customer Relations Specialist
Position Summary: Exempt (full time).
The Customer Relations Specialist is responsible for achieving the enrollment and revenue goals set by the Chief Mission Officer for campus-based programs.
The Customer Relations Specialist will communicate with prospective and returning customers daily and will need to be knowledgeable about the current program offerings.
The position provides excellent customer service while being flexible in helping participants with enrollment procedures and serves as the primary point of contact once a customer enrolls in a program.
The Customer Relations Specialist works collaboratively with staff and contractors to develop and implement marketing and sales strategies and create and disseminate high-quality communications that engage new audiences, increase participation in campus-based programs, and meet program revenue goals.
This person will serve as the author and editor for print and electronic materials that focus on a variety of audiences and are disseminated in a number of electronic and print venues.
Education and/or Experience: This position requires a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, sales, English, education, anthropology, or another relevant field with some knowledge of Southwest anthropology or an equivalent combination of education and experience and three-to-five years of practical experience.
This position requires being highly organized with great attention to detail, advanced computer skills, and solid customer service experience to perform the essential duties.
