Water Quality Program Manager
The Ute Mountain Ute Tribe is hiring a Water Quality Program Manager.
Essential duties include:
• Perform management, analyses and program direction tasks that impact Reservation-wide water quality
• Manage water quality monitoring projects entailing investigations of hydrological, biological, geological or chemical problems related to water resources
• Supervise water quality staff
• Coordinate, direct and assist technical personnel in the collection and analyses of field data, quality assurance
• Evaluate and analyze data collected, prepare written and verbal reports on findings of projects
• Evaluate conformance with established environmental codes, ordinances and regulations and recommend enforcement action based on inspection findings
• Development, writing, reporting and management of annual EPA grants and other grants and budgets to maintain, sustain and develop program funding
• Collect water quality samples and field data
• Manage water quality data
• Assess data and report on watershed and ground water aquifer quality
• Attend meetings and training workshops locally and regionally
• Manage and grow a regulatory program to meet the Tribe’s needs and requirements Great salary and benefits for qualified applicant.
