The Human Resource Director's responsibilities include recruitment, staff qualifications, selection, training and development, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, and strategic human resources planning. The HR Director assists directors, managers, and specialists with program governance and compliance with federal and state child care regulations and employment laws.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership, technology, data analysis, and strategic management skills. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to build relationships with management and staff. Experience with child care state licensing and Head Start Performance Standards is preferred.
The position is a full-time, full-year, salaried position with an annual rate of ~ $56,077 to $61,984 based on an hourly range of $26.96 to $29.80, depending on education and experience.
Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or a related field, 5 to 10 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration and PHR certification is preferred.
