We’re seeking a passionate, motivated Financial Services Consultant to help launch our new Durango location.

Job Summary

In this role, you will be part of Sunwards member-facing team handling daily financial transactions, responding to member needs, and providing friendly customer service. You will educate members on Sunwards products and promotions and find opportunities to cross-sell relevant services. As a primary touchpoint for those we serve, you will be a key player in maintaining a high-quality member experience.

What you’ll be doing:

· Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing

· Process various transactions and answer member account inquiries. Post transactions to member’s account and maintain member records.

· Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts

· Issue cashier's checks, money orders, and bank drafts

· Verify and reconcile daily transactions to maintain accurate records

· Proactively educate members on Sunward products and services

· Complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and submit them to the designated internal department for quality control in a proper and timely manner.

· Ensures all member interactions and transactions are conducted with integrity and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with basic digital literacy; comfortable working with digital banking systems

· Adaptability and willingness to learn

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Education/Work Experience

· Minimum 1 year experience in financial industry, consultative sales role, or related field

· Minimum high school diploma, or 1+ year of related experience.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be flexible with schedule to meet the needs of the organization and membership.

Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
