Manager of QAPI
Pagosa Springs Medical Center has an opening for a Manager of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI). This key management position is responsible for leading an effective and sustainable, data-driven, facility-wide quality assurance and performance improvement program. The QAPI manager maintains a quality infrastructure that includes developing and implementing decision tools, clinical processes and guidelines, care management programs, and outcome measurement assessments. This manager leads both the Quality Counsel and the Performance Improvement Committee. The QAPI manager assures that PSMC participates fully with regulatory quality programs both federal and state. The QAPE Manager participates in external committees and meetings to develop critical relationships with community, state and professional resources. The QAPI manager has strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to analyze situations and arrive at creative solutions to complex healthcare challenges. The QAPI Manager will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and possess clinical experience. PSMC’s full-time positions include the following benefits: paid time off; health insurance plans with medical, dental and vision; options for Health Savings account (HSA) or Flexible Health Saving account (FSA); and a 401A retirement plan and optional 457 plan. Compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000 annually.
