This temporary position is responsible for accounting-related tasks incl reconciling Treasurer bank accounts, posting journal entries, & posting bond purchases and redemption entries. Must be a detail-oriented team player with excellent customer service & communication skills. Part-Time temporary position lasting 4-6 months as needed for 12-16 hours/week, flexible hours. JOB SUMMARY:
Under general direction of the County Treasurer, this position is responsible for accounting-related tasks for the treasurer and public trustee’s office.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Accounting and Audit Functions: • Responsible for reconciling all bank accounts for the Treasurer’s office on a monthly basis • Post Journal Entries as need, but no less than weekly • Post entries to record bond purchases and bond redemptions • Regular and predictable attendance is required. • Performs other related duties as required.
