Veterinary Receptionist

Durango Animal Hospital is currently hiring for a full time Receptionist working 32 plus hours per week. Our Reception Team is responsible for scheduling appointments, checking clients and patients in and out, taking payments, assisting clients with pet food and products, reminding clients of upcoming appointments, answering incoming phone calls and following up with clients as  needed. Team member must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 40#’s routinely, work up to 10 hour work days , 4 days per week with rotating Saturdays, input computer data, answer a multi-line phone system, and assist as needed to help keep the hospital running smoothly on a daily basis. We are locally owned and AAHA Accredited. We offer paid sick time, paid time off, and a 401k. Uniforms are provided. Pay starts at $16.50 per hour DOE.
