Highway Maintenance Worker - Rico

There is a vacancy for a Highway Maintenance Worker on the Rico Patrol located in Rico, CO, located in the heart of the beautiful San Juan Mountains in southwest Colorado.
Highway Maintenance Worker positions do more than drive big trucks! Each day is different. Typical work will consist of daily work that can include maintaining the landscape, highways signs, culverts, delineators, road shoulders, rock slide areas, runaway truck ramps, and more. Highway Maintenance Workers impact the lives of the traveling public every day by keeping the roads and surrounding areas safe.
The starting salary for this position is typically $3,266 per month. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, you may be eligible for an increase in salary of up to 5%.
Minimum qualifications: We require at least two years of experience in physical labor and/or heavy equipment operation experience AND a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B with no restriction on air brakes that allows operation within Colorado.
