Administrative/Legal Assistant
The City of Cortez is seeking a full-time Administrative/Legal Assistant to support the City Attorney and the Community & Economic Development Director. The successful candidate will work closely with the directors to perform administrative support in addition to taking on special projects. Job duties include organizing and maintaining files, screening visitors, calls, and managing schedules. Additional duties include engaging in legal and non-legal research; creating presentations, charts and graphs; maintaining databases; meeting preparation; and managing special projects. Strong candidates will be highly organized, have strong communication and people skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office suite. The position salary range is $17.80 - $27.94. City of Cortez benefits are medical, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, vacation and sick leave.
