Customer Support Advocate I (Remote Friendly)
ACT is Hiring!
We are seeking to fill around 20 full-time Customer Support Advocate I positions for our B2B Pre-ACT, Aspire, & WorkKeys customers with a focus on providing quality, front line customer service by handling inbound phone, chat and email contacts from our customers through to resolution, or when needed, to escalation.
Pay and Benefits: We have multiple openings that pay $16/hour and include a competitive benefits program, opportunities to advance and generous paid time off.
Start Dates: Positions are scheduled to start on November 1.
Work Location: Preference is to have these positions located at the ACT Headquarters in Iowa City, Iowa with team members working either full-time onsite or a combination of onsite and remote upon successful completion of training and demonstrated competency of customer service support. We are also considering candidates outside of the area who will work 100% time remote.
Hours: Standard hours are either 8 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday with expanded hours during peak periods.
Requirements: At least 1 year of experience that focuses on positive customer engagement and support, helping others be successful, building customer relationships and/or experience in an educational type of setting; high school diploma or equivalent; good communication and collaboration skills and ability to be flexible and manage and navigate change positively; regular and reliable attendance
